John Warren White had a mail run at Raglan, Victoria in 1853. He was also a stock and Station Agent there. He then moved up to Queensland where he became a pasturalist, at which he apparently went broke. He was a Councillor in 1876 an d 1877 andMayor in 1878 at Arnauds, Victoria. There is a portrait of Sir John Warren White in the St. Arnaud's Town Hall.
